Journal 3/30

What are my ideas for the writing of the historical fiction? Well an idea I have is that I would like to talk about how people lived during the civil war. They weren't happy when it was happening, because they were living where they were loosing family and friends that they were very close to. I don't know for sure if I want to do this, but it sounds like something that I would want to do. Otherwise if I don't do that, I would enjoy doing the events that were happening. There were a lot of things that were happening while the war was going on. That's another thing that I would like to do.

    I think that story about daily life during the war would be really interesting. The next step will be to decide who your characters will be. Are they from the North or South? Is your main character a man or a woman? Are they for the war or against it?

    Let your ideas for your story guide you in your research.

    What information will you need to make your story historically accurate?
