Journal 4/25

Over spring break something that I did was go to Chicago. As we thought about it we wanted to visit my aunt, because we don't get to see her often. Besides going to Chicago, I got my Easter stuff and was not ready to go back to school the next day. I didn't do much over break, because most of break I was sick. Even though it was a break, I have to re-take my science test, so I'm able to go to six flags.

Something for me to go back in history is for school pictures like they had at the end of the movie.
I don't have much control over how people remember me, because people have ways of remembering people and how the remember me as. It's different for everybody.
In 10 years from now, I will remember this school. I will remember all of my friends and all the fun times. I won't forget about it.
I think others will remember me by how I was with them and I approached them.

one cause about the civil war is that they had different beliefs about slavery and how slavery was used. They didn't want the slavery in the north but at the same time, the south thought that slavery was a good thing to have so that the owners didn't have to do stuff all on their own. Slavery was a one of the things that had caused the civil war.
One important battle that had happened was the battle of Gettysburg. That was a battle that was going to be fought for what they wanted and how they wanted there own things.
One person that was important to the war was Abraham Lincoln. He became president and he wanted to stop slavery in the United States. He didn't want there to be slaves when all of the slaves escaped from the south and went to the north.

During the class time, I think that my class time has been used wisely. The thing that I find easy about the assignment is that it can be something that we can free write about. That is something that I enjoy. The one thing that I find challenging is that we have to put head notes and know exactly were the facts came from and putting the facts into the writing. I could impove the story by maybe putting more speaking parts into it.

Reporter: What is the hardest thing for you while you are fighting in the war?
My hardest feeling that I have is that I have to leave my wife and she is going to have her baby soon. I don't feel right leaving her while she is in this position and that is the hardest thing for me.

Reporter: Who is your closest friend during the war?
Well, my closest friend during the war is a 16 year old boy named Thomas. He has respect for everyone around him, and he has a hard life as it is now. I am happy that I met him, because I'm able to talk to this guy and he understands what's going on.

Reporter: Are you trying to keep in touch with your wife? And when you child comes will you keep in touch with it too?
Yes. I am talking to my wife Lucy, by writing letters back and fourth to each other. I enjoy being able to hear from her, even though it takes a few days between each letter to get back. Normally I try and respond that night when I get it or immediately in the morning so that I can get it sent out right away. And when my child comes, I will try and know how the baby is doing and making sure everything is okay with it.

I woke up this morning thinking to myself, what am I doing with my life? It never seems the same as the day before. I feel like everyday I wake up and something happened to me that it can't be explained. My mom never remembers me, neither does my dad. Usually my brothers know what is going on with me, because my parents never know what is going on with us, and why we are waking up in their house. They always tell us that they never had children and that we are just hobos that are sneaking in at night. Well whatever. I can find a different family that actually appreciates me. My older brother is old enough to say that we can be his children. He should know what is going on and how it's happening. But no one ever knows. Everyone remembers us, just not our parents. Maybe it's just the short term memory loss that old people get when they get old.
As I woke up on Saturday morning, my mom greeted me right as I awoke. This is weird. I thought to my self. She told me that I was having nightmares and kept talking to myself. She told me that she had no idea what was going on and she tried to wake me up. She had a lot of troubles trying to wake me up and that I wouldn't wake up, so she decided to make me breakfast for once. Lucky enough it was all just a night mare.

"There he goes.. up, up, up and away!!!" excitedly says Herman going down Maple alley.
"What?!?! who is going UP,UP,UP AND AWAY!!!!??" replies Merman walking at Herman's side.
"You know your brother. He's in that space rocket and he's going to be gone forever!" Herman is reminding Merman what is going on.
"OH! YEAH! YAY! YAY! YAY!" Merman is more than happy what's going on.
Merman's brother was an ugly adult, and very rude to everyone he meets. No respect at all and doesn't treat people the way he wants to be treated. He is 13 years older than Merman and his name is Pip. We all know it could sound like a name from a dwarf, but that's why everyone made fun of him. He didn't care he was always a spoiled brat and always wanted things his way until Merman was born. Then he never got things his way anymore. He didn't like that.
Flashback.
"Mommy, I don't want a brother. Can you please take him back to the store and never get another child again?" Pip rudely said to his mom.
"Sweety, there is no reason why you should be angry with having a little brother," his mom was explaining to him. "But now you have someone to play with and that you have someone to take good care of."
"Well my issue is that there are things that you aren't being fair to me at all. All you care about is Merman and not about me. Goodbye." Pip said as he started to cry.
"Pip, we all know you are going to be happy with this someday."
"no I'm not."
"okay."
15 years later....
As Merman was sitting on the bench with Herman,they were talking about how much Pip always hated him. So as they watched to rocket go, it turned around and came back down to the Earth. They were both very confused about what was going on, so they ran to the nearest place that had a rocket landing. Supposedly Pip felt bad and all he wanted was a life to himself and nothing to do with Herman. That was rude of him to say, but as long as Pip was home, Merman can also stay away with him with everything he did to him.

Dialogue
"Who are you?!?!" my mother says to me as she woke up this morning.
"I'm your child. Your first born child." sassing back to her wasn't easy but I had to do it.
"Well if you are my first born child, then you wouldn't be talking to me at, wait what time is it?" she was tired, and miserable, because she was sick.
"Mom, it's 2:30 in the afternoon. I need you to tell me what to do with my sister. She's bored and I can't do anything unless you told me to do it."
"Well you are the man of the house now since of what happened to your father in the war." I shouldn't be in her room. Thinking of how sick she is, it is horrible to be around her.
Last week I decided to fight in the war, because it's something that I should be able to do. I don't care if my father had died in the war, I want to fight for something that I will fight for.
"Take good care of your sister. I'm not feeling to good." She responded to me in dread.
"okay. stay in bed. I don't want you getting out."

Journal 4/1

Something that I was able to learn, is that the war was almost 150 years ago. Unless you really want to know about the war, most people should there minds in the of Americans.
There is really nothing else that really caught my eye about the Civil War.
